Cibola Citizen: Arnold Noriega
SWAT Agent Arnold Noriega of the Milan Police Department has been helping to keep the crime down, saying that Chief of Police Pat Slazar drew him here. “Talking about the narcotics program, just the changes he wanted to make being a new administrator here in the Village of Milan really intrigued me. He had some great ideas, and so far he has done literally everything he said he was going to do,” Noriega said.
Noriega said that he is originally from McKinley County, and that even though Milan is smaller, “I feel like I can have a bigger impact in a place like Milan. There isn’t a whole lot of crime, but the crime that we do have has more of an impact on a smaller community than it would on a bigger, Albuquerque sized jurisdiction.”
