How to have fun: Grants Public Library

For a day of fun and learning for the whole family, the Grants Public Library is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The library hosts a variety of activities and events. “On any given day, of course it's about reading: newspapers, magazines, books and the like,” explained Library Director Ron Gonzales, “but people might not be aware that we have public computers that people can use to fill out job applications, write resumes, print pay stubs or even just stay connected with their families via email or social media. We've also seen plenty of folks just hanging out in the courtyard, doing homework, reading, meeting other people, and we've heard from parents who are happy to be able to bring their small children to read, play with Legos or use our Krayon Kiosks while they get some quiet time to read, reflect or whatever else. So, there's really never a dull day in the Grants Public Library.”
