Harrison (Harry) Jordan
Funeral services for Harrison (Harry) Jorden, 83, of Grants, N.M. will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019. Visitation will be at 10 a.m., services following at 11 a.m. at the Temple of Peace Church, 610 Valencia Ave. Milan, N.M., with Reverend Darryl McCullough officiating. Burial will follow at Grants Memorial Park.
Harry was a dear man, always full of smiles, life and music. He will be greatly missed.
He was born on May 19, 1935 in Columbus, Ohio and passed away on Jan. 3, 2019 in Grants N.M.
He loved being in church, singing and playing music.
Harry was a machinist with the North American Aviation in Columbus, Ohio, before entering the Army in March 1958.
While in the Army, Harry was a paratrooper with the 2nd Airborne Group, 501st Infantry. He served in the Army from 1958 to 1964.
In Harry’s adult life, he held many different occupations, including retiring from driving hazmat trucks for Giant fuel company.
The latter years of Harry’s life, he resided at the Good Samaritan Grants Society Nursing Home due to a lengthy illness.
He is survived by his wife; Marian; children: Robin Farley, Terry Jordan, Colleen Lee (Dennis), Janet Farley (Terry), Steve Holley (Cathy), Diana Kerr (Rick); 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be: Terry Farley, Rick Kerr, Dennis Lee, T.K. Brown, Tony Serrano, Dale Good.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Terry Jordan, Steve Holley, Beryl Jordan and Paul Jorden.
