Insert Something Witty
There is nothing more human than waiting.
It is a shared experience and annoyance, that often tests our limits as individuals. There are not many nonthreatening situations that test our vulnerabilities like waiting at a mostly empty government field office for four hours, because the person who handles your task is with a complicated client.
And there’s not many things that are more irritating than showing up to a doctor’s appointment 15 minutes early as recommended just to sit in the waiting room for 20 minutes and another 30 in the exam room. Or waiting for more than three hours for a governing body to announce what actions they’ve decided on, just to find out that they didn’t take any. Waiting is the bane of our existence.
