Spring has sprung and many of Cibola’s citizens are busy little bees. Cleaning up their hives and doing that annual spring time yard maintenance. Gardens are getting rototilled, lawn are being thatched and flowerbeds are getting cleaned up and prepped for the new batch of flowers, all in hopes of making a small oasis on the landowner’s property.
We do these things to keep out the weeds, diseases and pests and we do these things for a sense of pride and when done we can sit happily on our porches, patting ourselves on the back for a job well done. As voters, we have the same duty. With the upcoming elections on the horizon, we as voters need to break out our gardening tools once again and put the candidates to the rigors that we put our lawns, gardens and flowerbeds through.
