February 15 Grants Recreation Board The Grants Recreation Board will meet at 6 p.m. on Feb. 15 in the City Hall Council Chambers 600 W. Santa Fe Avenue. Agendas will be available Feb. 10 at City Hall.

February 16 Regular Village of Milan Meeting

The Village of Milan Board of Trustees will have their regular meeting on Feb. 16 at 5:30 p.m. at 623 Uranium Ave.

February 18 10th Annual Mt. Taylor Kids Quad Cibola County Complex 500 W. High St. Grants, N.M. Registration is in person and same day. All racers will receive a finisher's medal for completing the race! T-shirts will be given on a first come, first serve basis. First place in each age group win’s a new bike. Cost is $10 per child.

Planets: Here, There, Everywhere!

Join El Morro National Monument and Derek Wallentinsen from the Albuquerque Astronomical Society at the Old School Art Gallery for a star-filled evening! Six planets have been known since ancient times. Now we have found thousands! Learn about solar system planets, how exoplanets are discovered and the possibility of life on other planets in the cosmos. A free 45-minute presentation will be followed by a star tour and viewing through telescopes, weather permitting. February 25 Free Movie – “The Help”

Like the movie “Hidden Figures”, “The Help” is a “sliceof- 60s-life”. Set is MS, it features talented, Black actresses. To honor Black History Month, the Double Six Art Gallery will show this award-winning movie on Saturday, February 25 at 2 p.m. Remember – The arts are for everyone!

February 28 CGH Blood Drive

Cibola General Hospital Laboratory is collaborating with Vitalant for a Community Blood Drive Event on Tuesday February 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will take place in the Community Room across from Dietary at the hospital. March 4 Chamber of Commerce Banquet Awards

It is that time again! Our Banquet and Awards will be held on March 4, 2023. March 11 Free Movie – “Selena” A popular film depicts the popular singer, “Selena”, the ‘Queen of Tejano’ music.
