GRANTS, N.M. — This year marks a major milestone for one of Cibola County’s most trusted health providers. Mount Taylor Medical Supply is celebrating its 30th anniversary of serving the region with medical equipment, rentals, and personalized support that touches the lives of individuals, families, and care providers throughout western New Mexico.
To celebrate, the friendly staff held an open house on April 11, where they gave free hot dogs to the community.
Founded in 1994, Mount Taylor Medical Supply has grown into a cornerstone of local healthcare support. The business offers a full range of equipment, including oxygen machines, walkers, scooters, CPAP and sleep devices, hospital beds, incontinence supplies, lift chairs, and more. These services have become especially critical for Cibola General Hospital, home health aides, and the many residents who rely on equipment to manage chronic health needs at home.
“This is a very exciting year for us,” said Shelly Martinez, who co-owns the business with Matt Munson, Pharm D. “We’re proud of how far we’ve come, and grateful that we’ve been able to make a real difference in people’s lives right here in our community.”
Since transitioning to new ownership in 2020, the company has undergone a revitalization of its services and core values. Locally owned and operated, Mount Taylor Medical Supply remains rooted in its mission to improve healthcare access and quality. “Whether it’s someone recovering from surgery or managing a long-term condition, we’re here to help,” Martinez said. “We work with most insurance providers to reduce the financial burden, and we do our best to make sure people feel cared for and supported.”
