GRANTS, NM – Get ready to rev your engines and mark your calendars for Saturday, June 7, 2025, as the Spokes on 66 Car Show returns to Grants with a day packed full of entertainment, community connection, and classic car charm.
From 10 AM to 5 PM, car enthusiasts and families alike can enjoy a dazzling display of show-stopping rides across multiple venues, including River Walk Park, City Hall Park, and Fire & Ice Park. But the fun doesn’t stop there— live music and entertainment will keep the energy high until 8 PM.
“This is about more than cars,” said Denise Hanson, Executive Director of Grants MainStreet Project Inc. “It’s about bringing our community together, celebrating our unique culture, and setting the stage for next year’s centennial.”
Spokes on 66 is set to be a cornerstone event for Grants, featuring activities for all ages.
Visitors can expect a variety of family-friendly experiences like live music and entertainment, for delicious food and unique vendors like the World’s Largest Cotton Candy, a towering 20-foot treat with 172 flavors, some great special guests and other surprises like thrilling RC car races, there’s fun for everyone.
This year, Spokes on 66 is partnering with the Grants Farmer's Market, allowing local vendors to showcase their goods at one of Grants' most beloved events. Whether you're a homemade craft vendor or representing a local business, there’s an opportunity for everyone to connect with the community.

Spokes on 66 serves as a prelude to the 2026 Route 66 Centennial Celebration, where Grants will shine a spotlight on its historic role in the legendary highway.
Grants MainStreet Project, in collaboration with the City of Grants and local partners, is driving a wave of community revitalization, with ongoing initiatives and park improvements already taking shape. Spokes on 66 is just a piece of an exciting transformation for Grants that is helping get the community and its stretch of 66 ready for the 100th Anniversary of the Mother Road.
