BOOK TALK reader’s group met Wednesday, August 3 at the Grants Public Library. The topic was “Books That Make You Laugh”. Those present each had something to contribute from the various books discussed, from Mark Twain to Shel Silverstein. BOOK TALK is for people who like to read and discuss their reading with others. There are no officers, no dues, no assigned reading. If you like to read, come and visit us. You don’t have to say anything if you want to just listen to the contributions of others.
The topic next month is “education”. Of course, we couldn’t agree on a definition of education so we agreed that each would bring material that they felt fell within that category. Please come join us on Wednesday, September 7 at 1 p.m. at the Grants Public Library for enlightened conversation.
