Firefighters Save Life

In a post on the Grants Fire and Rescue Facebook page, the firefighting team explained an incident they dealt with on Interstate 40: “On October 4 around 5:13 p.m., Grants Fire and Rescue, along with several other agencies, were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident involving several vehicles at the 89-mile marker on I-40. Upon arrival of units, one driver of the semi was trapped and needed to be extricated. Firefighters quickly extricated one patient who was transported to a nearby hospital for minor injuries. No firefighters were injured during the event.”
