Police recommended residents always lock vehicles, even when parked at home; remove valuables from plain view; avoid leaving vehicles running unattended; park in well-lit areas when possible; and consider using steering wheel locks, alarms, or other anti-theft devices.

Grants Police encouraged residents to stay vigilant and report suspicious persons or vehicles promptly. Victims of vehicle burglary or theft are asked to report the incident as soon as possible so an officer can respond and complete a report.
