Herbert Welsh Lewis III, a male of about 59 years of age, was reported missing on June 2, 2025.
Last seen wearing blue jeans and a dark tshirt with a flannel shirt over on May 30, 2025, Lewis left a family members residence in Grants, NM.
According to a report from the City of Grants Police Department, Lewis was under the influence of narcotics and did not arrive at his sister’s residence where he was to reside before being taken to a rehab center in Albuquerque.
The responding officer, Lieutenant Joe Galindo learned of the building Lewis often goes to, spoke with the occupant, and was informed that Lewis had left prior to Galindo’s arrival.
The case was reported inactive on June 4, 2025.
