(Albuquerque) - The award-winning World-Famous Laguna Burger is opening its newest restaurant location at Route 66 Casino Hotel on Friday, May 6th at 5 p.m. This will be the 4th location for the iconic brand known for winning multiple awards for serving the best Green Chile Cheeseburger in the state of New Mexico.
Since its modest beginning at a gas station along Interstate 40 on the Pueblo of Laguna more than ten years ago, the Laguna Burger has grown to become one of the bestknown and wildly popular food stops in New Mexico. Recognized for always serving 100% certified Angus beef that is fresh and never frozen, fries cut fresh daily, Hatch green chile, and locally sourced lettuce, tomato, and onion, the signature burger has a brand-new location in one of Albuquerque’s favorite casino hotels.
The new location is designed in the style and décor of the highly successful World-Famous Laguna Burger restaurant that opened in 2018 on 12th Street in Albuquerque, across from the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center.
According to Route 66 Casino Hotel General Manager Adrian Fox, “We are very excited about adding Laguna Burger to our list of award-winning restaurants. Conveniently located adjacent to the casino floor, the restaurant adds color, excitement, great food, and one more way to get your kicks at Route 66 Casino Hotel.”
The new location is scheduled to open to the public at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 6th. Tribal officials, local dignitaries, and business partners will attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony prior to the official opening.
