Recently, Route 66 Motor Club members and local govnerment members met at the Double 66 Art Gallery. Ideas were offered to make our community more appealing.
Rid the city of old, empty buildings.
Hire a full-time, city marketing director.
Why are motel prices here higher than in Gallup?
Hold regular Town Hall meetings in each city district.
Present music concerts in the parks.
Visually emhance east side of Route 66 (basket arrays, landscaping, signs of greeting in different languages).
Retain old, adobe buildings.
