Cheryl Lynn Miles

Cheryl Lynn Miles was born in Louisville, Kentucky on July 8, 1962 and was raised by Chloice and Ruby Kathleen (O'Neal) Shofner in Lamesa, Texas.

Cheryl lived so many lives in her time on Earth, spending the majority of it either crafting or planning crafts, and was extremely proud of graduating with her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at the age of 57. She has touched so many hearts with her loving and giving spirit. She will be most remembered for her generosity and her passion for living.

She was preceded in death by her father, Chloice Shofner, and is survived by her mother, Kathy Shofner in Denton,Texas, daughters Erica (Hollis) Richardson in Benbrook, Texas, Jamie Daniel (Kevin Siders) in La Grande, Oregon, Stephanie Miles (Patrick Little) in Tucson, Arizona, Heather Lane in McAlester, Oklahoma, brother Nathan (Angela) Shofner in Prosper, Texas, sister Marna Lewis in Denton, Texas, brother Vance (Meisha) Shofner in Decatur, Georgia, as well as 11 grandchildren.

The family invites you to a memorial service in her honor on December 6, 2025 at 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (224 Mountain Road) in Grants, New Mexico.
