Reggie Rivera
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Reggie Rivera who was surrounded by her family on November 21, 2025.
Born on January 14, 1939 in Ocate, New Mexico to Ismael and Julia Garcia. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion that will forever remain in the hearts of many.
Reggie was preceded in death by her son: Wilfred Rivera; her parents: Ismael and Julia Garcia; her sisters: Sally Padilla, Florida Padilla.
Reggie is survived by her husband: Willie Rivera; her children: William Rivera (Deirdra), Walter Rivera (Carolyn), and Wanda Mae Rivera (Robert Cook); Her beloved brothers and sister: Elsie Trujillo, Reyes Garcia (Cordelia), Lupe Garcia(Gloria), Bernie Garcia (Diana), Julian, Garcia(Irene); and her treasured grandchildren: Ismael Rivera, Jesse Rivera, Jared Rivera, Bernadette Rivera, Justin Rivera, Andera Rivera, Phillip Rivera, Wyatt Cook, and Brett Cook and her (15) Great-Grandchildren.
Her presence, guidance, and unconditional love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A funeral Mass will be held at St. Teresa of Avila, Catholic Church December 11, 2025.
Rosary will be at 10:30 am, and funeral Mass will commence at 11 am. A reception will be following the burial at the Knights of Columbus in Grants.
