GRANTS, N.M. Nimitz Avenue Road Construction is set to begin February 16, 2026. Construction will be from East Sage Ave. to Clovis Ave.
The road will be closed to thru traffic. Access for residents on Nimitz Ave. and emergency vehicles only will be allowed during this time.
Work to be completed is water and sewer line replacement as well as roadway, curb, gutter, sidewalk and drainage. Construction is estimated to last 180 days. Please be aware of flaggers and workers in the area and seek alternative routes during this time.
