Athlete of the Week

has many athletes to recognize for their accomplishments in 4A District 5.

Promise Garcia was named All-District First team for the GHS Girls’ Basketball Team. Kiana Guzman was named All-District 2nd team. Demi Martinez was All-District Honorable Mention.

For the Grants High School Boys’ Basketball Team, seniors Coudy Melonas and Daniel Garcia were named All-District second team Joziah Ortega was All-District honorable mention.

The following boys’ basketball players were named to the All-Academic district team: Coudy Melonas, Jayden Chavez, Ryan Rael, Karlos Almanza, Cardenio Chavez and Isaiah Aldaz.
