CIBOLA COUNTY, N.M. – February, a month closely associated with love and commitment, brought new unions for couples in Cibola County while also marking important transitions for others.

February Marriages in Cibola County
On February 3, Matthew Barron of Grants and Jael Eden Salcido of Deming were united in marriage at 700 E. Roosevelt Ave. in Grants.
Probate Judge Josephine Hurtado officiated the ceremony, with Martha Salcido and Shirley Marie Barron serving as witnesses.
Valentine’s weekend brought another joyful celebration.
On February 14, Joshua Allen Gorham of San Antonio, Texas and Savannah Rose Pena of Grants exchanged vows at Saint Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
The ceremony was officiated by a Catholic priest, with Corina Graham and Ryan Pena standing as witnesses.
