ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Criminals have again targeted the Republican Party of New Mexico with several recent acts of vandalism. RPNM is reporting these crimes to Albuquerque and Rio Rancho police.

The Trump Victory office at 1406 Eubank Blvd. NE in Albuquerque was defaced when vandals spraypainted “Biden” in black paint on two windows’ vinyl signs. Authorities are searching for suspects.

Vandals destroyed, defaced, and stole several four-feet-by-eight-feet Trump-Pence signs around the northeast section of Albuquerque. At Juan Tabo and Montgomery Boulevard, a man with a machete was caught on video chopping up a sign. That video, taken by witnesses, has been handed over to authorities.

Also, Trump-Pence signs were stolen from several other intersections in northeast Albuquerque.

In Rio Rancho, the phrases “Black Lives Matter” and “A.C.A.B.” (an acronym for All Cops Are Bastards) were spray-painted on two Trump-Pence signs at Loma Larga and Idalia. Rio Rancho authorities have been notified and have photos of these acts.

The Rio Rancho vandalism follows other reports of Trump-Pence sign theft earlier this month in that city. An investigation into those crimes is already underway.

“This widespread vandalism will not be tolerated,” said Republican Party of New Mexico Chairman Steve Pearce. “All of these crimes are acts of hate, a message has that no place in our society at any time. Earlier this year vandals defaced our Albuquerque headquarters, but the DA failed to prosecute the suspect. This kind of criminal behavior must stop, and these vandals must be punished.”

Officials have asked anyone with information about any of these acts of vandalism to call Albuquerque Police at 505-242- 2677, Rio Rancho Police at 505-891-7226 or the Republican Party of New Mexico at 505-298-3662.
