GRANTS, N.M. – Book Talk readers’ group held their monthly meeting in the Grants Public Library. Discussion centered on well-known figures who were not the same in private as their public persona or who changed over the course of their lives. Persons discussed were President Andrew Jackson, Kit Carson, Vladimar Ulyanov, (pen name Lenin) and Vincent van Gough. Next month we will discuss “Christmas stories that are not Santa Claus nor Charles Dickens”.
Book Talk is open to anyone who likes to read and discuss what they read. There are no assigned books, no set questions to answer. We go where the books lead us. We meet in the Grants Public Library at 1 p.m., the first Wednesday of the month. Please join us and bring a friend.
