Missing and Endangered Grants Boy Found

Paul Samuel Martinez was located and is safe, according to the New Mexico State Police.

 

GRANTS, N.M. – In the early morning of March 28, Paul Samuel Martinez, a juvenile from Grants, New Mexico, was reported missing by the New Mexico State Police.

According to a preliminary report, Martinez was on a scheduled visit with his mother Linda Sherrie Haney of Portales, N.M. Haney does not have custodial rights.

According to NMSP, Martinez was last seen wearing a camo shirt with blue Levi jeans. He is 11-years-old, 4’6” tall and weighs 90 pounds.

It is unclear what Haney was wearing at the time of the disappearance. She is 40-years-old, 5’4” tall and weighs 135 pounds. She has green eyes and short blonde hair.

NMSP said the two may be in a gray Buick LaSabre passenger vehicle. NMSP said that they may be in the Portales, N.M. area, other reports suggest Martinez was taken to Texas.

Anyone with information about the disappearance or whereabouts of Paul Simon Martinez and Linda Sherrie Haney are asked to call New Mexico State Police at 505-841-9256 and pick option 1, or call 911.
