NAVAJO NATION – Shiprock man Bryan Bull was sentenced to 14 years in a federal prison for the aggravated sexual abuse of a 14-year-old boy in Shiprock, New Mexico. The abuse took place on the Navajo Nation on June 3, 2019, according to the United States Department of Justice.
Bull, a 40-year-old man, was sentenced to prison on March 15. Bull worked with an accomplice, Jeremiah Elijah Jim, a 31-year-old man from Teec Nos Pos, Arizona. Jim was sentenced to 24 years in prison after a jury determined his sexual assault on the 14-year-old boy led to serious bodily harm.
According to the United States Department of Justice, Bull and Jim used intimidation tactics and force on the 14-yearold to sexually abuse him. Both Bull and Jim pleaded guilty to abusing the minor.
This case was investigated by The Farmington Resident Agency of the FBI’s Albuquerque Field Office, the Navajo Nation Police Department assisted in the investigation.
