GRANTS, N.M. – The annual Battle of the Badges Blood Drive is going to be held July 28 at the Grants Recreation Center.
A trophy travels the county to various departments that win the battle. There is currently a critical need for blood across the United States, with this competition Vitalant, the company administer ing the blood drive, and local first responders’ team up to get life-saving blood for hospital patients across New Mexico.
The Grants Recreation Center is located at 551 Washington Avenue in Grants. Visit https://www.vitalant.org/ or call 505-246-1486 to schedule an appointment. The blood drive begins at 11 a.m. and will end at 4 p.m.
