Pam Chavez
Pamella (Pam Chavez), born November 19, 1959 in Gallup, NM, passed away peacefully in presence of family on February 8, 2023 in Grants, NM at the Cibola General Hospital. She was 63 years old. Her rosary will be conducted at 9:30 AM, on February 17 at St. Theresa Church in Grants, NM. with Funeral immediately following.
Pamella was raised in the Grants area, attended Grants High School and graduated in 1977. After graduating, she started working in the Uranium industry for Homestake Mining Company. Pamella found her calling working for the Grants-Cibola County Schools. Over her 19 years of service, Pamella impacted many children and adults throughout the Grants community.
Pamella married Earl Chavez on February of 1984 in Grants, NM. She loved to spend time with friends and family whenever possible, she was passionate about cooking and caring for those she loved.
Pamella is survived by her two sons: Bradley Chavez and Landon Chavez; her mother: Helen Fitch; two brothers: Anthony Fitch and Rodney Fitch; three sisters: Emily Duran, Debbie Reyna, and Geraldine Allen.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Earl Chavez. Pallbearers will be: Doreen Lopez, Danielle Sandoval, Caroline Rodriguez, Rachel Michael, Monique Peña, Edwina Hennemann, and Sonya Hernandez.
