Theodore Hardy Allen

Theodore Hardy Allen, 69, passed away at home, surrounded by loved ones, on July 30, 2024.

Born on March 23, 1955, in Phoenix, Arizona, Hardy grew up and spent his life in Grants, New Mexico. He graduated from Grants High School and joined his father’s family business a few years after completing his education.

Hardy was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, drawing strength from his faith throughout his life. He was an avid hunter and a dedicated fan of the Dallas Cowboys, with his enthusiasm for the outdoors and football evident to everyone around him.

His commitment to coaching was a defining part of his life, spanning over 25 years with the Grants Youth Football League (GYFL) and Grants High School. Hardy’s coaching not only developed players’ skills but also inspired and mentored them, leaving a lasting impact on many young athletes.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years: Tami Allen; his sons: Jeremy Allen (Alisha Salazar-Allen) and Travis Allen (Ashley Allen); and his daughters, Shannon Brinkworth (Matthew Brinkworth) and Hope Allen. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren: Jackson Allen, Isabella Allen, Colton Allen, Emma Brinkworth, Lily Brinkworth, Daniel Finch, Steven Finch, Remi Allen, Scarlett Allen, and Caleb McBee.

A memorial service will be held on August 10, 2024, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 224 Mountain Rd, Grants, NM. Hardy’s legacy of faith, kindness, dedication, and generosity will be cherished by all who knew him
