Fred Dean Clark
Fred Dean Clark 02/22/1962- 09/12/2024. Born in Grants, NM. Attended school in Grants school system and left school in 10th grade. He worked many jobs, all outdoors. Drilling rigs, surveying crew, cowboy and wrangler, wood cutter and fence builder. These jobs took him from NM to OR, CA, AZ, LA and more. He fell in love with the area around Glenwood and Reserve and lived there the last 35 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Bernadette (Wilz) Clark, brother David Clark. He is survived by his sister Sheila Clark Niell, nephews Jesse Clark (Kay), Robert Clark, Christopher Lyon and niece Kelly Clark Ottersberg. Great-nephews Brett Ottersberg, David Clark and Great-nieces Peyton Ottersberg and Amelia Clark.
A memorial will be held on the patio at The Tavern in Glenwood, NM on October 5 at 3:00pm with burial to follow at Alma Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to the Glenwood Firework Fund as Fred so loved the fireworks show every 4th of July.
