Veronica Sue Scarbro
Veronica Sue Scarbro of San Rafael, New Mexico, born May 11, 1965, passed away on September 10, 2024, at age 59.
She grew up helping on the ranch, which led to her love for the outdoors, animals, and the lesson that the cows come first. From a young age, she could always be found at the fairgrounds, showing animals. Her grand champion steer earned her a place on the Wall of Fame. She was an active 4-H leader and supporter, so resolute that she had her own 'SPOT' in the stands. She loved nothing more than ensuring the kids could be out there with the animals.
She was always on the go. If you needed a partner for anything, you could give her a call and she would be ready to go. With so many friends, she touched more people than anyone knew.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years: Rick Scarbro; her two sons: Denton Scarbro and Alyssa and Payden Scarbro; her granddaughter: Ezrah Scarbro; her two sisters: Bernadette Hiles and Jeanne Narramore; and her brother: Danny Mirabal and Jodie.
She was preceded in death by her sister: Tricia Harris; and her parents: Cecilio and Ella Mirabal. Her world revolved around her husband, her boys, and her granddaughter.
Pallbearers: Denton Scarbro, Payden Scarbro, Summer Bloise, Max Scarbro, Brandon Narramore, Skylar Narramore, Jodan Mirabal, Cody Mirabal, Ryan Hiles, and Cody Fuell. Honorary Pallbearers: Ezrah Scarbro, Abigail Bloise, Michael Bloise III, Zachary Bloise, Shay Narramore, and Bodie Narramore.
