Hawks Flying On

In this file photo the Laguna-Acoma Hawks football team receives last minute instructions from the coaching staff before heading out to the field at a recent home game.

The Hawks are currently 2-2 after a 28-12 loss last Friday night to Hatch Valley (3-1). Their next game will be against Navajo Prep (2-1) on September 27th on the road.

The Lady Hawks volleyball team is 2-1 after defeating the Bosque Bobcats (3-8) 25-18, 2518 and 25-15 last week. Next up for the Lady Hawks will be against East Mountain (3-4) on September 17th on the road.

The L-A cross country team hosted the Marylin Cheromiah Memorial meet last week on Friday, September 13th. No results were posted as of press time.
