James Paul Robinson
James Paul, known to some as “El Jefe”, was born in Birmingham, Alabama on September 7, 1968. He was called to be with our Father and Jesus Christ on October 5, 2024, in Cleveland, Ohio. A believer in Jesus his life is a testimony to many.
Paul grew up in Grants, New Mexico, and attended Grants High School. He was in the Army National Guard, after that he made a career as a semi-truck driver. He grew up with many friends and he considered them all to be his brothers.
He was a man who was always willing to help with whatever needed doing. He would tell jokes that you had to think about before you got it! He was well loved by everyone who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father: James Louis Robinson; his nephew: Daniel Trejo. Paul leaves behind his mother: Corina D. Nicholas, Grants, N.M.; his sisters: Nancy Benavidez of Grants N.M., Beatrice Coleman of Roseburg, Oregon, Rebecca Trejo of Mendenhall, MI; his brother: Mark Trejo of Milan, N.M.; his uncle: Remy Cabrera of Knoxville, TN; his aunts Diega Cabrera of Grants N.M. and Jennifer Calloway of Euclid, OH; along with a large number of nieces, nephews and cousins from here in New Mexico and in various parts of Alabama and Mississippi.
A memorial for Paul will be planned at a later date. Rest in Peace “El Jefe”!
