Six Wrestlers Off to State

The Grants High School Wrestling Team is fielding a total of six wrestlers to the state 4A wrestling tournament held at the Rio Rancho Events Center this Friday and Saturday.

The Lady GHS wrestlers are fielding four wrestlers.

Dakota Billiman competing in the 100 pounds the weight class has a 258 record. Raeyna Valdez at 126 pounds, has a record of 26-6. Jaylene Morin at 152 pounds, has a record of 23-13. Danika Wilson wrestling at 185 pounds has a 20-9 record.

The boys wrestling team will field two wrestlers.

Clemente Garcia will wrestle at the 152 pound weight class and has a record of 17-18.

Kiernan Bell will wrestle at 285 pounds and has a record of 15-18.
