has been indicted on two charges of homicide by vehicle, driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or any drug (second degree felony) – or – great bodily injury by vehicle; reckless driving (third degree felony); great bodily harm by vehicle; driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor (third degree felony) – or – any drug or great bodily injury by vehicle. Reckless driving (third degree felony), and aggravated driving while under the influence of intoxication liquor or drugs; refuses testing (fourth degree felony). The grand jury is given two options for the same incident, in which the charge that can be proven without doubt will be applied.
On March 28, 2025, Walton allegedly operated a vehicle while under the influence resulting in the death or two people and great bodily harm to a third person. The abovenamed defendant is also said to have resided to submit to chemical testing.
Robert Lee Clark has been indicted on the charges of breaking and entering (fourth degree felony); possession of a controlled substance (fourth degree felony); and resisting, evading or obstructing an officer arrest (misdemeanor).
As reported in court records, on March 8, 2025, the above-named defendant entered a house without permission by breaking or dismantling the back door. Additionally, Clark is said to have unlawfully and intentionally possessed methamphetamine, its salts, isomers or salts of isomers. Knowing an officer was attempting to apprehend or arrest him, Clark allegedly fled or evaded the officer.
Martin Zubia has been indicted on the charges on aggravated fleeing a law enforcement officer (fourth degree felony); resisting, evading or obstructing an officer (misdemeanor); improper equipment - driving a vehicle at night without lighted lamps (penalty assessment misdemeanor); driving while license suspended (misdemeanor); stop or yield intersection (penalty assessment misdemeanor); illegible registration plate (motor vehicle code misdemeanor); and no insurance (motor vehicle code misdemeanor).
On March 13, 2025, Zubia allegedly drove a motor vehicle in a careless manner that endangered the life of another person after being given a visual or audible signal to stop by law enforcement officer. The above-named defendant is said to have resisted or abused the officer, after driving in the dark without displaying lighted lamps and illuminating devices. Additionally, the defendants license was suspended, Zubia did not have insurance, the registration plate was illegible, and the defendant reportedly failed to stop or yield before entering the crosswalk or a yield intersection.
Elijah Samuel Begaye has been indicted on the charges of conspiracy to commit aggravated battery, deadly weapon (fourth degree felony); and battery (petty misdemeanor).
The above named defendant, on November 1, 2024, allegedly did by words or acts agree together with another person( s) to commit aggravated battery and applied force in a rude or insolent manner.
