Theresa Denise Sanchez entered eternal rest on July 11, 2025, in her home in Milan, New Mexico. She was born on July 17, 1958, in Gallup, New Mexico to Arthur and Josefita “Rebecca” Gomez.
Mrs. Sanchez was a resident of Grants, New Mexico. Her hobbies included traveling, going to baseball games, visiting the botanic gardens, cooking and baking for her family and friends.
She is survived by her Children Charlotte and Joesph Sanchez. Mother; Josefita Rebecca Gomez. Grandchildren; Monique Villa, Lola and Ignacio “Zoo” Arellano, Vanessa Adame and Jeremaih Sanchez. One great grandchild Estevan Sanchez. Siblings; Geraldine Aldaz, Anna Marie Fernandez, Perfelia DuBois, Patricia Gomez, and Jake Gomez.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Joe Sanchez and Father Arthur Eugene Gomez.
On Tuesday July 22, 2025, a Rosary will be recited at St Teresa of Avila Parish, at 09:30AM, a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00AM by Father Emmanuel Johnson. Inurnment will take place at Grants Memorial Park following the service.
Honorary Pallbearers include Herman Fernandez, Victor, Derrick, Jimmy Lee and Victor Lee Aldaz, Dominic, Eugene, and John Paul Moleres, Dane and Adam DuBois, Jacob, Jake, Debbie and Arthur Gomez.
Family will receive relatives and friends at the Cow Palace for reception following the graveside.
