Christine (Tine) Pacheco age 55, of Farmington, New Mexico passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022. Christine was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico, on July 7, 1966, to adoring parents Silveano and Sista Martinez. She was a 1984 graduate of Grants High School. Her battle with cancer in recent years showed her courage in facing life challenges with determination. Despite the pain, Tine came out a hero and stayed strong until the very end. She is survived by her children, Rudy (Santana) Cde Baca, Joshua (Roxanne) Pacheco, Husband, Anthony Pacheco; Mother, Sista Martinez; Grandchildren Ayva Cde Baca and Mason Pacheco; Sister, Cindy (Randy) Varela; Carol (Billy) Ross; Brother, Allen (Crystal) Martinez; Stepsons, Anthony Jr and Jacob Pacheco; Father-in-law Tony Pacheco; In-laws, Randy (Rebecca) Pacheco, Eddie (Delia) Pacheco; Nieces, Maria Varela, Mattie (Chris) Davison, Jericha (Dillon) Gibson & Nephews, Joseph, Manuel, and Matthew Ross, and Eddie Jr. Pacheco; as well as many aunts, uncles, great nephews, great nieces, cousins, and friends. Tine’s life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were Blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that she stayed here. She loved fiercely and deeply and received that in return. We take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace in the Lords loving arms, surrounded by her father, Silveano Martinez; her niece Audrey Ross; her maternal grandparents, Eleuterio and Louisa Varela; her paternal grandparents Manuel and Guadalupe Martinez; Mother-in-law Nancy Pacheco and numerous other family that she loved dearly and proceeded her in death.

Tine was talented in so many aspects of her life. She was a genius with a crochet or knitting needle. Tine was also an amazing softball player. Aside from that, she enjoyed playing games at the casino, arts and crafts, and cuddling on the couch watching football or movies. Most importantly Tine was a terrific mom and “grams”. Her children and recent grandchildren were her life. There was never a day that went by, with good reason, that she didn't boast about all her beautiful babies, including her precious dogs Baxter and Cooper.
