Eric Gonzales Kellywood
Christopher Eric Gonzales Kellywood (EZ) was born October 14, 1997 in Needles California to parents Eva Cathern Middleton and Brian Eric Kellywood and passed away on September 21, 2024 at the age of 26.
He grew up in Havasu Lake, CA on the Chemehuevi reservation. He attended schools in Chemehuevi Valley, Lake Havasu City (AZ) Sanders (AZ), and graduated from Grants High School in Grants, NM Class of 2015.
Christopher was a person that could walk into a room and light it up with his bright personality. He was always so loving and caring. He was the type of person that would help you whenever you were in need. Always thinking for others before himself.
He was a loving father/uncle. He dedicated a lot of his love to his nieces and nephews. He would make the time to attend sports games and play with them. Watch movies, play video games, take them shopping, and so on. He loved them very much.
He worked in the oil fields in Texas. He worked in California as a pipe layer. He worked in Milan, NM at CoreCivic as a Supervisor in the Kitchen. Then his last place of work was at Mckinley Paper Mill as a Paper Machine Operator Tech 3, always working to promote and teach others. He worked very hard to be the best he could be.
He loved riding his motorcycle. He was very adventurous. He loved traveling with his family and friends, seeing different places. Lived his life like nothing could stop him, unless he ran out of gas.
He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, grandson, and friend. He is survived by his son, Grayson Arthur James Benavidez. His mother and dad, Eva and Dustin Middleton. His Father, Brian Kellywood. His siblings, (sisters) LaToya, Cheryl, Amber, Anissa, Aiyana, and Abigail; (brothers) James, Elijah, Evan, and Anthony. His nieces and nephews Matthew, Samuel, Izadora, Ayven, Adriel, and Lilly.
Services will be held on Saturday September 28, into September 29 (from sunset 7 pm to sunrise 5:30am) at 420 Dixie Street, Grants, NM.
