Jackie Lynn Sanderson, 73, passed away on March 30, 2023, in Phoenix, Arizona.
Born in Northern California on March 9, 1950, Jackie lived in California, Arizona, and Texas before settling in New Mexico in 1980.
Jackie was a woman of many talents. She worked in several fields in her lifetime, including counseling, teaching, retail management, convenience store management, and truck driving. Her final gift to the workforce was managing A-X Propane in Milan, New Mexico for many years before retiring several years ago. Following retirement she enjoyed spending time in Phoenix, AZ with her daughter and grandchildren.
For fun, Jackie enjoyed playing tennis, reading, woodworking, gardening, landscaping, and listening to music.
Jackie was preceded in death by her sisters Pam Baker, Rhonda Morris, and Donna Amador with whom she is now reunited, Praise God! Her parents Marvin Ray and Vera Mae Baker also preceded her in death.
Jackie is survived by her daughter Sabra Munoz, 56, of Phoenix, AZ, her daughter Toni Kidd, 55, of Albuquerque, NM., and her 4 grandchildren, Hayden, Ethan, Micki, and Tylor.
A Celebration of Life service will be held in Jackie’s honor. The details are as follows: Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Temple of Peace Church, 610 Valencia Ave., Milan, NM 87021 For those who cannot attend in person, the Celebration will be live streamed on Facebook.
