James Trujillo Jr. age 45 of Grants NM. Passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness in Phoenix Az. on October 30, 2023. James was born in Grants New Mexico on November 8, 1977.
His hobbies were coaching baseball, playing golf and being an avid 49ers fan. He also enjoyed the outdoors and sitting by a campfire at his cabin.
James is survived by his parents James and Sharon Trujillo. Wife of 20 years Shaye Trujillo. Daughter Jade Suazo (husband James Suazo). Sons James Trujillo III and Leonard Trujillo. Grandchildren James Jr, George, and recent twins Nova and Koah. Sister Jacqueline, her children Erin and Ayden and great niece Delillah. Grandmother Charlotte Trujillo Olguin. Mother in law Patricia Hungate, sister in law Rhonda Shiosee, brother in law Kacey (wife Savannah) several aunts, uncles and cousins, nieces and nephews. James was previously employed by the Village of Milan , San Rafeal and City of Grants water departments. His most recent employer was NM Meters.
He is proceeded in death by his grandparents Horacio Ben Trujillo, Auriello and Gladdys Jaramillo, Uncle Michael Jaramillo, Aunt Anna Chavez and Father in Law, Ronald Hungate.
A rosary for James will be recited at 9:30 a.m. on Friday November 17th at St Teresa Church in Grants NM. The eulogy will be following the rosary. A reception will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall following the mass.
