JoAnn Chavez, May 11, 1949 - July 18, 2024, JoAnn daughter of Bartolo and Palmiria Vigil, passed away in Milan, New Mexico on July 18, 2024.

Services for JoAnn Chavez will be held August 23, 2024, at St. Vivian’s Catholic Church, in Milan, N.M.

Rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m. and a funeral mass will follow at 10 a.m. JoAnn will be laid to rest at Grants Memorial Park immediately following services.

JoAnn was married to Fedencio Chavez; and is survived by three children: Christopher, Christina, and Lawrence; 15 Grandchildren: Miranda, Kytana, Justin, Evan, Jeramy, Kyle, Jared, Christopher, Megan, Katelin, Joshua, Madison, Jacob, Britney, and Isabella; 13 great-grandchildren; Two sisters: Elsie, and Maryann; Three brothers: Kenny She was preceded in death by Eddie and Delfino Vigil; four sisters-in-law: Beatrice Chavez, Edwina, Lydia, and Debbie Vigil; many nieces and nephews.
