John Martin Easton, also known as Donald John Tyson. Date of birth: April 17, 1942. Date of Death: January 26, 2023. John's Life Celebration will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Living Hope Church at 1100 Franciscan Ave., Grants, NM 87020. A reception will follow at Living Hope Church Parish Hall. John’s remains will be buried at the Santa Fe Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The memorial will be held on April 17, 2023, at noon.
John Martin Easton, 80, went to be with the Lord, surrounded by his loving family, in Tijeras, New Mexico.
He was born in Tacoma, Washington, on April 17, 1942. John proudly served our country in the United States Navy. He continued his life as a Patriot of the United States, mechanic, carpenter, salesman, entrepreneur, community leader, politician, producer, and Jack of all trades. His most cherished hobby was loving and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.
His parents, Jack Easton Tyson and Alice Alberta Kosanke (maiden), preceded him in death. John was survived by his son: Travis Tyson (Lena); daughters: Victoria Farr (Michael), Zan Luna, Joy Gutierrez (Eddie, Jr.), Jennifer Tyson; brothers: Gary Tyson (Barbara) and Pat Tyson; 20 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
