Jonetta Kay McKeon of Grants, NM at 70 years-old went to be with the Lord on January 19, 2026.
Jonetta was born in Albuquerque, NM on March 6, 1955, to John and Julia Fessler. Jonetta married Mike McKeon in 1987. They ran their business Phoenix Electric together until Mike’s death in 2006. After losing Mike, Jonetta went to school to become a pharmacy technician, which she worked as until she moved to Grants. The last years of her life she worked for Dungarvin in home healthcare.
Jonetta was preceded in death by her parents, John and Julia Fessler, and her beloved husband Mike McKeon. She is survived by her sister Jean Divine, Jean’s children Gail, Connie, Mike and their families, her brother Johnny Fessler and his daughters Catherine, Victoria, and their families.
A celebration of life will be held at La Ventana in Grants, NM on February 7, 2026, at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Animal Humane Society would be appreciated in honor of Jonetta’s love of animals.
