Michele Marie Serna age 54, of Albuquerque, New Mexico has passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024.

Michele enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, tending to her rose bushes and collecting rocks. Michele was born on March 22, 1970, to Ralph Ortega and Suzanne Beattie in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Michele was preceded in death by her sister: Sonia Ortega; father: Ralph Ortega; grandparents: Espiridion and Sotera Ortega, Donald and Linda Beattie; and husband of 21 years: Darrell Serna Sr.

Michele is survived by her mother: Suzanne Beattie of Bloomfield, New Mexico; partner: Ralph Diaz of Albuquerque, New Mexico; sons: Kameron and Sammy Brown, both of Grants, New Mexico and Darrell Serna Jr of Albany, New York; grandchildren: Amberlee Brown, Jordan Brown, Rhyan Brown, Landyn Brown, Jaxyn Brown; brothers: Vince Ortega of Grants, New Mexico and Chris Ortega of Farmington, New Mexico; sisters: Jennifer Ortega- Johnson of Durango, Colorado and Elizabeth Prentiss of Grand Junction, Colorado.

Services will be held at The Way, Truth, and Life Ministries, 700 Sakelares Blvd. Grants, New Mexico 87020 at 11 a.m.
