Nestor Valdez
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nestor “Sarge” Valdez, on September 10, 2025. Nestor was born on February 27, 1964, to Robert and Eloisa Valdez.
Mr. Valdez was a lifelong resident of San Rafael, New Mexico. He was known for being a hardworking man who was easy to get along with. He loved his family and was proud to be from New Mexico. He was a San Francisco 49ers fan, and a 76ers fan. He enjoyed playing basketball, hunting, and spending time with his family. He is loved and will be missed.
He is survived by his wife: Stella Valdez; children: Martina Anna Valdez, Ashley Margarita Valdez, Peter P. Valdez; grandchildren: Daniel Mariano, Joey Valdez, Jazmyne Valdez, Veronica Stellita Mae Beauregard, and Joccee Marie Lynn Beauregard; brothers: Richard Valdez, Benny Torrez and sister: Lupe Ortega.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Eloisa Valdez; siblings: Lorraine, Gino, Roberta, Phillip, and Pablito Valdez.
On Monday September 22, 2025, at 10 AM a Service will take place at the Morada in San Rafaels. Inurnment will follow the service.
Honorary Pallbearers include Daniel Mariano, Joseph Valdez, Damacio Valdez, Fredrico Torrez, and Peter P. Valdez.
