Sherry Alene "Gaines" Duck, 74, died peacefully in the arms of her husband and daughter on November 4, 2021at their home in Grants, New Mexico after a courageous battle with cancer.
Services will be held at 1 pm, November 1l, at First Baptist Church 212 Mountain Rd, Grants, N.M.
Sherry was born on November 14, 1946, in Marysville, California to Lenda Lucile Webb Gaines and Plesant Alexander Gaines who preceded Sherry in death.
Sherry was raised in Albuquerque, N.M. and graduated from Rio Grande High School in 1964.
She is survived by her husband: James Duck; daughter: Jamin Hutchens and her husband James of Fort Pierce, Florida; son: Lloyd Duck and his wife Jodi of Big Spring, Texas; along with five granddaughters and five greatgrandchildren; brother: Les Gaines his wife Amy of Grants, N.M.; Along with three nephews: Chad Gaines of Grants, Chase Gaines of Colorado, Brice Duck of Arizona, and niece Sharon Bernard of Idaho.
