Theresa Frances Trujillo, 69, was born January 26,1956. Raised in Grants, New Mexico.
She was preceeded in death by her father Sisto Saavedra, Mother Sabie Saavedra and her Sister Lucy Montano.
She is survived by her Loving Husband, Arthur Michael Trujillo, married for 52 years. Her Loving Daughter, Lydia Corrine Trujillo and Her only Son Horacia Ben Trujillo. Her brother, Sisto Saavedra Jr, Sister Nancy Saavedra, and brother Leon Saavedra. Her Grandsons, Adrian, Chris, Kwaya Martinez and Benji Trujillo.
Theresa accepting hardship, suffering, carried her cross gracefully toward her final journey to life eternal. She passed peacefully at her home at San Fidel, New Mexico.
She loved crocheting baby blankets and large ones. You were lucky if she made one for you! She loved cooking for the family. She enjoyed her many cats. She loved volunteering for Special Olympics working with children and adults. She also loved going fishing and camping.
She was employed by Cibola County Schools as a cook at Cubero, New Mexico. She enjoyed talking to all the kids that went through her line.
Services will be held at The Way, Truth and the Life Ministries on January 3, 2026 at 10:00 AM. The family will have a reception at the Knights of Columbus in Grants, New Mexico. The family will have a celebration of life in San Fidel, New Mexico on her birthday.
