For the first time in the Cibola Citizen’s history, we are running out of bundles of newspaper. The price will remain the same, $1, but please be patient with us when we don’t have any extra bundles for sale. This last week, there was an incredibly limited number of papers we brought back from the racks to bundle.

The COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent supply crunch has put serious strain on the Citizen’s ability to keep our stores of paper full. This, coupled with constant thefts of newspaper from our racks, is contributing to the paper shortage.

While we work on addressing the current supply crunch at our office, the Cibola Citizen has opened up rolls of paper for purchase at $4 a roll. We are actively working to address the paper shortage as the weather grows colder and colder across Cibola.

Bundles are available every Thursday, due to limited supply they will be sold on a first-come-first-serve basis. Purchases of bundles will be limited to five bundles per customer. Due to the Thanksgiving Holiday, our office will be closed this coming Thursday and Friday, but will be open at 9 a.m. on Monday.

We appreciate your understanding of this supply crunch, please work with us as we try and alleviate this situation.
