GHS girls’ soccer head coach Jesse Gamboa said of his team’s performance to date, “We have succeeded by learning from the losses and are becoming better for it.” Gamboa added that “Success doesn’t have to do with the wins or losses----it’s about supporting and guiding these ladies to be the best versions of themselves on and off the field.”

Currently the Lady Pirates Soccer Team have a young squad as they field 11 freshman, two sophomores and three juniors and a sprinkling of 8th graders to round out the team this year. “For assistants and me we are committed to building a strong foundation for the program,” said Gamboa.
