Hunting season is back in Cibola County. Hunters already applied for and drew their hunting areas; the time has now come for them to test their skills and bring back food for their families and community.
Bow season is upon Cibola County, while hunting is legal with proper permitting and the accurate weapon according to the rules, there are some areas where hunters need special permission, like on tribal land. Some areas require consent from ownership, even when they’re leased for hunting use, check the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish website at https://www.wildlife.state. nm.us/ for more information.
