The Cibola County Amateur Radio Club monthly meeting is Thursday August 19-2021, at 6 p.m. at the Asian Café at 1508 E Santa Fe Ave Grants, NM. The CCARC is a non-profit 501c, all volunteer organization made up of local amateur radio operators that help local governments during emergencies, lost persons, and events. We help citizens obtain their license to become an amateur radio operator or renew them after they have expired within the new 2-year grace period. We also help citizens obtain the new GMRS license available to the public to communicate with family members with twoway radio when phone services are not working. Visitors and members must pay for their own meal, the public is welcome to attend.
