The Village of Milan held their Easter Bazaar on April 6 and April 7. The event included vendors, carnival games, and an easter egg hunt for children aged 0 – 12. Tickets for the carnival games were five for $1 and 25 for $5 and due to businesses and local government members donating 150 kids received five free tickets for carnival games. The carnival games included, face painting, a frisbee toss, an egg dig, a ring toss, a bean bag toss, and a fish tank. Multiple event sponsors also donated plastic eggs for the Easter Bazaar with the village receiving 6,000 plastic eggs to be used during the event. Sponsors also donated candy, game prizes, coupons, and money to pay for tickets for kids. Village Interim Manager and Finance Director Candi Williams said that if anyone who participated in the event has plastic eggs that they do not want to keep they can drop them off at the Village Hall to be used next year.
