Addressing a critical shortage

Addressing a critical shortage of blood donations, Grants residents rose in support of either Team Law Enforcement or Team Fire, pushed their sleeves, and donated blood. The blood drive, put on by Vitalant on July 29, was collecting blood to address the nationwide shortage that is affecting hospitals.

Throughout this year’s Battle of the Badges, Team Fire was victorious with 33 votes. Team Law Enforcement earned 12 votes. A total of 51 Units of blood were collected through the event. Diego Lopez - CC
